A Brief Background
Kochhar A. started as a painter in his early years before discovering the magic of photography in late eighties with a humble investment of a camera and two lenses. During the journey as a photographer, he specialized in Industrial, product and special effect photography. He learnt his photography techniques in early eighties from Late Mr. T. Kasinath recipient of Padmashree award by President of India. As per him, his teacher was one of the most humble human he ever met.
At his peak as freelance photographer in late nighties, he ventured in graphic designing and created New Delhi’s most advanced design studio and created some of the popular graphic, product designs and brands. By then, he stopped freelancing worked only for his dedicated clients.
It is said that creativity has no limits. In the year 2002 he ventured into another goner of interest and visual art. This time it was designing and creating pieces of art in furniture and interior design.
By the year 2008 all the verticals independently established and were being taken over by the next generation.
In 2009, he once again succumbed to his love of photography and returned to it full time. The next year, he pioneered the concept of ‘Spiritual Art Photography’ and taking it forward, in the year 2010 he held a series of three solo shows to an exceptional response. The exhibition was named as “Journey of a Mystic” showcasing various stages of evolvement in a mystical journey of life. From painter to photographer, photographer to graphic designer, graphic designer to life style designer and back to photography.
